About Drone Udyog Sahyog

Drone Udyog Sahyog is a national‑level drone industry summit hosted at IIT Delhi. The event brings together senior government officials, defence personnel, startups, manufacturers and global technology leaders from across the UAV ecosystem to discuss the future of drones in India.

The summit acts as a platform for aligning policy, technology and industry roadmaps so that India’s drone sector can scale responsibly and competitively.

Focus on Make in India technologies

The exhibition focused on Make in India drone technologies, showcasing indigenous components, propulsion systems, avionics, sensors, software platforms and manufacturing capabilities aimed at reducing reliance on foreign imports and strengthening domestic production.

For participants like CruiseHead, this provided a concentrated view of the maturing supply chain – from motors and batteries to flight controllers and data systems – all being developed within India.

CruiseHead’s participation and learnings

CruiseHead participated as an observer and learner, engaging in industry discussions, understanding regulatory perspectives and studying emerging trends shaping India’s drone manufacturing landscape.

The summit strongly emphasized collaboration, standardization and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives, reinforcing the importance of interoperable systems and shared frameworks for future drone operations.

Representation and future alignment

Both co‑founders, Saubaan Ahmad Siddiqui and Anas Khan, represented CruiseHead at the event, using the opportunity to gain insights from key stakeholders including policymakers, defence representatives and fellow innovators.

These learnings will help align CruiseHead’s research and development efforts with national innovation goals and ensure that future platforms can integrate smoothly into India’s growing drone ecosystem.
