Celebrating Republic Day in Aligarh
Republic Day 2026 was a special moment for CruiseHead as the team participated in the official celebrations held at Aligarh Muslim University in Aligarh.
The ceremony brought together students, faculty, staff and guests for the flag hoisting, cultural performances and a focused message on self‑reliance, innovation and national service.
Presence of university leadership and dignitaries
The event was attended by the Vice‑Chancellor, Pro‑Vice‑Chancellor, Registrar, Proctor and other senior dignitaries of AMU, along with a wide gathering of students and staff from different faculties and schools.
Flag unfurling from a CruiseHead drone
As part of the program, CruiseHead executed a controlled flag unfurling using one of its drones, carefully planned to synchronise with the formal proceedings on the ground.
The tricolour was carried aloft and unfurled in front of the audience, offering a unique aerial view of the flag while maintaining safety, stability and respect for the national symbol.
Drone fly-past over the gathering
After the flag unfurling, the drone performed a brief fly‑past over the assembled crowd at a safe, pre‑cleared height, showcasing precise control, route planning and payload management.
The sequence demonstrated how carefully engineered drones can integrate into formal events when flights are approved, rehearsed and aligned with security and protocol requirements.
What this moment means for CruiseHead
For CruiseHead, taking part in Republic Day 2026 at AMU reinforced its commitment to building made‑in‑India drone systems that are both technically sound and aligned with the country’s values.
As the company continues to work on agriculture, training and field‑ready UAV platforms, moments like these act as motivation to keep improving engineering, safety and reliability for real‑world missions.
