Focus of the workshop

CruiseHead conducted an interactive Drone and VTOL Technology Awareness Workshop at Raja Mahendra Pratap AMU City School, aimed at introducing students to the fundamentals of modern unmanned aerial systems and emerging aviation platforms.

The session focused on how drones and hybrid VTOL (Vertical Take‑Off and Landing) systems are transforming industries such as agriculture, defence, logistics and disaster management. Students were shown where these platforms fit into real operations rather than only textbook diagrams.

Concepts shared with students

To build a strong foundation, the workshop covered basic aerodynamic principles, flight stability and the practical design trade‑offs between multirotor, fixed‑wing and VTOL configurations.

Live demo and interaction

A live drone demonstration showcased stable hovering, control precision and responsiveness to pilot inputs. This helped students connect the theory of flight with what they could see and hear in front of them.

The demonstration was followed by an engaging interaction session in which students asked questions about drone careers, engineering pathways and India’s growing role in indigenous UAV development.

CruiseHead team presence and impact

Both co‑founders of CruiseHead, Saubaan Ahmad Siddiqui and Anas Khan, were present along with the CruiseHead team, reinforcing the importance of early exposure to advanced technology and innovation‑driven learning.

By the end of the workshop, students had seen drones in action, heard directly from practising engineers and gained a clearer sense of how they could contribute to India’s future in aviation and robotics.
